Permanent layer (castable)

The permanent layer is in contact with the thermal insulation layer, and steel fiber reinforced high-aluminum self-flowing castables are generally used. The castable can be vibrated for construction or self-flow construction, and the construction is convenient. It has the advantages of high strength, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. In the production environment of continuous continuous casting, it can be used together with the working layer of the tundish to prolong the service life of the tundish in the case of continuous casting for a long time.

The thickness of the permanent layer is generally 130-170mm, and the life span is from half a year to more than one year.
