Precast blocks for tundish mainly include slag retaining wall and dam and impingement plate or cup. The major raw materials are sintered magnesia, fused magnesia, super bauxite, synthetic magnesia-alumina spinel, synthetic magnesia-chrome sand, etc. with SiO2 and Al2O3 ultrafine powder as binders. It features great anti-erosion and slag erosion performance. The impingement cup can help improve the flow field distribution of molten steel in tundish to improve slab quality.
